Job Location

Job Responsibilities

  • Working closely within the Implementation test team to develop and execute test plans that ensure our customers get what they want.

  • Have a passion and great understanding of Software Lifecycle, can understand the requirements, and build high quality testing cases and scenarios.

  • Have a great eye for detail and should have worked in product development ecosystem also should have a detailed approach of strategizing testing activities.

  • Experience in automated functional scripts using tools such as Testim , Cypress or Selenium, Rest Assured, Java, Cucumber and provide technical support to the team.

  • Good experience in Java Script / Java / .Net is preferred.

  • Technical Troubleshooting skills in SAAS environments, like – Log extraction, Identifying root causes, Infrastructure log analysis, knowledge of standard tools like Grafana etc.

  • Able to multitask on variety of assignments and should be organized and minimizes rework in the process. Use of JIRA is highly recommended in all the tasks.

  • Driving software testing process toward quality-centric methodologies.

  • Documenting and troubleshooting errors.

  • Good to have knowledge and experience on Non-Functional Testing like Performance / Security

  • Excellent written communication skills and good client facing skills are required

Key skills

  • BSc/B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

  • Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role for 3-5 years.

  • Experience in QA methodology and software development process/tools

  • Manual testing

  • Using automated tools like (Testim,Cypress, RestAssured, Cucumber) using black box, grey box testing techniques.

  • Good exposure in Java software testing development is desirable with good understanding of OOPS.

  • Experience of API testing, tools like Postman/SoapUI

  • Exposure of working with Agile teams and using Jira/Kanban boards.

  • Exposure to build tools like Maven/Gradle

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines built using Teamcity / Jenkins

  • Exposure to basic workings in Unix – shell, log fetching, log analysis

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Attention to detail.

  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

  • Good presentation skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Insurance Industry and ACORD standards

  • Exposure to Camunda, BPMN or similar BPM Modelling and Orchestration tools.

  • Some knowledge or experience of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; NoSQL document-based databases such as MongoDB or CouchDB;  methodologies such as Kanban, XP, Scrum
