Job responsibilities

• Analyse requirements by discussing with the client and internal product teams
• Capture the requirements and detail the acceptance criteria to get them agreed with all the stakeholders
• Design, configure, and test different parts of the system based on customer’s needs and lines of businesses
• Hand-on understanding of the system to support the configuration activities
• Test the system for delivered configuration against business requirements
• Give feedback to the product engineering team about the platform functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product configuration
• Continuously improve the configuration process through identifying and implementing process improvements

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in configuration or related field of product configuration
• Bachelor or Master Degree : Preferrable to have some insurance domain qualification/certification
• Systems analysis using structured methods e.g. use cases, business process maps/documents, data models
• Prior knowledge of Policy admin systems in P&C Insurance domain
• Prior experience in insurance product configuration
• Understanding of Policy/Claims/Billing systems and life cycles would be an added advantage
• Understanding of US / European markets and products is an added advantage
• Understanding data structures and data relationships e.g. JSON
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in understanding software platform releases and life cycle
• Experience with source version code tools such as git/GitHub, or other similar tools
